Coyote Creek Art Village & Rendezvous Camp is located 30 km east of Vernon on Highway 6 at the historic site of Reiswig, once a roadhouse on the gold trail to the gold placer claims on Cherry Creek. Coyote Creek Art Village includes a Tipi Camp with accommodation for twelve; and a studio loft that is self-catering and sleeps 5-6 people, enabling groups to run retreats and workshops. The Village is an artists retreat and learning and wellness center that can be reserved by groups wanting to take advantage of a unique wilderness accommodation with both indoor and outdoor work and meeting areas.

Catering available:
Self-catering facilities are available or for an extra charge, we can cater meals if notified well in advance. We serve excellent meals specializing in both vegetarian and Western Canadian BBQ specialties that include salmon, beef or buffalo, fresh veggies and a wildcrafters buffet.

We can also prepare a breakfast that includes bannock, Canadian Ham and Pancakes with maple syrup, hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, coffee tea, milk, orange juice, home-made bread and jam and more.

On site Groups activities and services:
Meeting tools (overhead, flipcharts....etc) Coyote Creek Art Village features a Sculpture Trail covering 20 wilderness acres with artwork being created, and in progress in our studio; primitive /Raku Clay firings; nature tours and storytelling; two Medicine Wheel meditation areas; miles of wilderness mountain biking and hiking trails; numerous lakes and 5 minutes to the Shuswap River Canoe Launch. There is a campfire pit and free firewood when fires are permitted.

Maximum group size: Tipi Camp-12 people, Studio Loft- 6 people per bedroom (2 bedrooms)

Description of Rooms:

Coyote Creek Artisans Village includes a Tipi Camp with accommodation for twelve; and a studio loft that is self-catering and sleeps 5-6 people bunkhouse style, enabling groups to run retreats and workshops both indoors and outdoors.

The Loft includes: Bunkhouse style sleeping areas with single beds and a twin sofa bed in a sitting area; fully equipped kitchen area; dining and meeting area; wood pellet stove with central heating; a washroom with a shower and flush toilet; porch with picnic area; sauna; fire pit and grill. Please bring your own sleeping bag and bedding.

The Camp includes cooking facilities; food lockers; fridge; grill and oven area; free firewood; picnic tables and a central fire pit; latrines, solar showers and sauna.

Rates: single, double, family, child

Studio Loft Rates
Minimum Stay 2 Days, accommodation is up to 6 people (2 Bedrooms) $180.00 per night (entire Loft) from June to mid September. The facility is self-catering.

Tipi/Group Campground Rates
Minimum Stay 2 Days, accommodation 4 - 12 people.
$30.00 per night, per person, minimum 6 people

Campsites and RV sites
$12.00 per night minimum stay 2 Days.

Seasonal Operation:
