Heritage Cycling Tour: Explore Vernon and the Commonage Vistas
Explore
the high country vistas of the North Okanagan while cycling
the trails of natural grasslands. This hillside region gives
us fantastic viewpoints of both Kalamalka Lake and Okanagan
Lake. Our journey will include a visit to the Allan Brooks
Nature Centre for an interpretive walk that explains the sensitive
wild habitat of this unique region of Canada. Our tour also
includes a tour of historic downtown Vernon and its famous
murals that showcase the pioneering history of the region.
This North Okanagan experience is approximately
4.5 hours long consisting of approximately 20 kms of cycling.
Departure time from downtown Vernon or Predator ridge Golf
Course is 10 am or preferred times for groups. This guided
tour includes a 24 speed suspension Bike Rental, Guide, Helmet,
Lunch, Snacks, Transport from Vernon, Water, and lunch. This
tour includes lunch on an outdoor patio.
