Journey into the Mountains of Peace
Explore the edge of the Okanagan as this
semi-arid rolling grassland valley turns to rainforests and
mountains. It is here that we will find the Monashee “the
mountains of peace”. We will make our way through rolling
ranch land into cool forests before we stop at Sugar Lake
on our way to Rainbow Falls at the gateway to Monashee Provincial
Park. This tour will include visits to the villages of Lumby
and Cherryville where we can try our hand at gold panning
and visit artists at work along the way.
Our guide is Reg Scott, a famous piper, and
one of our best tour guides specializing in the North Okanagan
and Monashee. This tour is 7 hours and includes transportation,
guide, trail snacks, beverages, and lunch.
