Cool Desert Wonder – Kettle Valley Railway

Shady stands of Ponderosa Pines tower over the red rock pathway
where the Kettle Valley Railway once meandered slowly through
this desert world. We stay cool from the breeze as it glides
over timber-framed trestles high above spectacular Myra Canyon
and a spectacular view of the blue waters of Okanagan Lake.
As we leave the shady darkness of stone carved tunnels we
are renewed in time for a taste of fine wine and a tour of
Summerhill Winery.
This four-hour 6 km hike is hosted by Ed Kruger
one of our most experienced guides, we affectionately call
him Trail-head Ed who has 20 years experience as a leader
of outdoor experiences, specializing with travel on the Kettle
Valley Railway.
This tour includes transportation, guide, trail
snacks, beverages and lunch at Summerhill Winery.
$110.00 per person
Minimum 2 people per tour.
