Cougar Canyon Expedition
This
is a one-day rugged hike into Cougar Canyon departs from Kalamalka
Lake Provincial Park. Cougar Canyon, carved out by glacier
water of the Ice Age, is an environmental and geological gem.
Here, we will need to use our GPS on this GeoSearch Adventure
as we follow game trails along the canyon floor. This is one
of the “must experience natural attractions” in
the Okanagan. We will learn survival techniques, map-reading
and use of a GPS to navigate through the canyon. You must
be reasonably fit for this challenging and exhilarating learning
experience. This 7-hour hike provides explorers with vital
outdoor skill, wilderness navigation and other healthy lifestyle
activities including developing physical fitness and building
up one’s self-confidence in the outdoors.
This professionally guided program is all-inclusive
and includes snacks and lunch, and includes pick-up from Vernon.
$80.00 per person
