Hike Through Myra Canyon
Enter into a world of soaring Red-tailed
Hawks as they bring together the worlds of rocky cliffs and
clear blue sky. This slow moving trek into Myra Canyon is
perfect for all ages as we follow the old rail bed of the
Kettle Valley Railway. Listen closely as we hear the train
whistle echoing through the carved tunnels from a past long
since gone. Our guide Joe Kyle has had a career as a train
engineer on the Canadian Pacific Railway. Now turned trekker,
he will tell the stories of life on the rails combined with
the natural world that now inhabits this spectacular region.
This four-hour hike explores Myra Canyon and
it’s tunnels, trestles and vistas, this tour includes
transportation, guide, trail snacks, beverages and lunch.
$54.00 per person
